If we sell him Aw will pocket the cash and say the market is infected. I honestly don’t care am ready for the worst but Arsenal will always be Arsenal

  2. Erick says:

I read an interview by Espn and Sol and Sol reckons Aw is dealing with alot of things at the moment especially CESC so those who think its media hype your so wrong

  3. Mustafa says:

    Obvious choice: Keep him

  4. Hi Gooners,
I have been saying for some time that, if we do not change our ideology and transfer policy, we ought to say goodbye to the title for a considerable period of time. Gooners, please, please DO NOT BLAME FABREGAS AT ALL. The boy has a legitimate concerns, desire to achieve something in his football career, which the current ownership and current manager CANNOT OFFER HIM. The reason the boy is going is due to luck of investment in the club. FABREGAS does not believe and forsee that, there will be a great investment in transfer window this season. How many times, have we been told that, there was money available to spend. Then when, the time came, Arsene Wenger will insult our intelligent by saying, IN ENGLAND PEOPLE ARE OBSESSED OF BUYING PLAYING ONLY. Gooners, do not get upset with the boy, instead with the Arsenal board and manager. FABREGAS has legitimate argument on his side. It is a sad day for us, Arsenal.

  5. JonJon says:

    Erick

From what i can gather Sol has been offered a mega money deal and 1st team footy at Celtic..

    He could be off too

  6. rico says:

    Afternoon all,

What more is there to say JJ other than a very clever post, it seems the only thing that really concerns us now –

I’d like to think the club will try and convince him to stay for one more season and get a few great players to make him realise he made the right decision.

If he goes though i am off to the bookies to place a bet on him getting crocked at the WC and then out for most of his first season at his new club…. πŸ˜‰

  7. rico says:

Not that i expect the club to do that though, they are about four years too late!!

  8. rico says:

Yaya doesn’t want to come to us now, he wants to go to Citeh, wonder if that’s for money or to play with his brother…. mme!!

  9. rico says:

And how long does it take our club to confirm Chamakh is ours…

  10. Hi Gooners,
I have been saying for some time that, if we do not change our ideoloy and transfer policy. We ought to say goodbye to the title for a considerable period of time. Gooners, please, please DO NOT BLAME FABREGAS AT ALL. The boy has a legitimate concerns, desires and ambitions to achieve something before he retires in his football career. Which, THE CURRENT OWNERSHIP AND THE CURRENT MANAGER CANNOT OFFER HIM. The reason the boy has decided to go, is due to luck of investment in the club. FABREGAS DOES NOT BELIEVE AND FORESEE THAT, THERE WILL BE A GREAT INVESTMENT IN THE TRANSFER WINDOW IN THE NEXT SEASON. How many times, have we been told that, there was money available to spend. Gooners please, please again, DO NOT GET UPSET WITH THE BOY, instead with The Arsenal Board and The manager Arsene Wenger. Fabregas has a strong case, a valuable argument on his side. IT IS A SAD DAY FOR US, ARSENAL. I am fuming.

  11. Erick says:

Seems he is staying JJ, SOL that is he want to play at the very top I wonder if Celtic can do that. Barca get Villa, sorry Rico the fairy tale is over 😦

  12. rico says:

    I am in mourning Erick πŸ˜‰ πŸ˜‰

  13. Erick says:

Oh Rico where is Wath when you need him for a shoulder to cry on πŸ˜‰

  14. Erick says:

The Cesc thing is gathering pace guys fasten your seat belts its going to bumpy and tough but we will make it through

  15. rico says:

I’ll go and give him a nudge Erick πŸ˜‰

  16. Erick says:

Rico am sure the GG is all he can think of let him drown his sorrow he will find is way back home πŸ™‚ Snoring πŸ˜‰

  17. Q8Gooner says:

I dont really think Cesc will leave this summet. He hads a lot of improvements to make and that cannot be done while warming the bench there .. Meanwhile, AW must use this to Arsenal’s benefit and bring in the players we need to stregnthen our squad and start winning again. Btw, i cant see how some want him crocked in the WC because he wants to leave .. He’s given us a lot and we should thank him for that.

  18. Erick says:

Q8 if he stays we will have do deal with the transfer rumour and DNA stuff. If he is going I wish him well if he is staying i will support him all the way but we can’t build the team around him because we will go ten steps backward once he leaves

  19. rico says:

Q8, if Cesc stays, which I don’t think he will now, this has to be the biggest wake up call for Arsenal, the board I mean. They need to stop telling us how much we dont owe and give Wenger a pot of gold to spend….

I don’t think all will be doom and gloom if Cesc goes, yes he is a wonderful, skillful and talented player, possibly nearing his peak, but, if the mancs can step up after ronaldo left so can we.

Maybe some will stop relying on Catain Marvel to do all the work and pull their socks up, add to that a few bloody good signings and you never know….

In the meantime, Cesc will get very limited time for barca, that is what i hope he realises, and wenger buys the right players to keep him for at least one more season,,,,

  20. Edmond Dantes says:

    Hello

Why did that fool Peter Hill Wood say that Fabregas can’t even get into the Barca team?

We can only hope that he stays one more year.

Anyway why the sudden change of heart from Cesc? Possibly because Arsenal’s transfer policy lately has been shocking! With the obvious exceptions of Vermaelen, Nasri & Arshavin (+10m players), who’s really come in?

Even if Fabregas goes, don’t assume that the club will spend the money. Because when its the board and Wenger in question, assumption is the mother of all f**k-ups. They will just go and get more kids and save the rest of the money.

And for what? Someone can easily buy the club and load their debt on it.

  21. Edmond Dantes says:

We can’t assume that if Wenger gets 40m for Fab, top-class players will come in.

    This is what will happen:
Everyone knows that Arsenal have got 40mill to spend (they assume at least). And you know what I say about assumption. Nevertheless, Wenger is never one to spend a pound extra so he will say that the market is “inflated” etc. Arsenal are being priced out etc.

You know what: We will end of getting nobody. Except some guy way past his prime on the last day of the window and some youth players will be promoted.

    Thats what will happen.

  22. Edmond Dantes says:

A bleak prospect indeed to see Cesc leave. He signed a bloody extension to his contract and he should damn well honour it. Thats my feeling on the matter. He bought into Arsene’s vision and now what: Things are not looking good and he wants to pack his bags.
He will be a legend with Arsenal. With Barca he will just be another super-star.

But we all know that at the end of the day, the top players in the world have more power than clubs. They dictate where they want to go.

Let us recall last summer. Adebayor and toure went for a combined 40mill. Who came in?

Thats right. Nobody except T.V. who only cost 10mill. What happen to the other 30mill?

  23. agirlagunner says:

    Hello, all.

As much as I love Cesc (and it is with the muchest of muchnesses), he should go if his heart is not with us. What is the point otherwise?

We will rebuild. We always have. It is not Fabregas FC, after all. Come on, everyone. We are the Arsenal!!!

  24. rico says:

hi agag, spot on, we need players who WANT to play for Arsenal… but like you, i will be so so so sad 😦 😦

  25. Erick says:

Agag long time missed me πŸ˜‰ spot on we will if the Mancs did it after cristiano exit then we will do it come on

  26. agirlagunner says:

After the GG-induced haze, comes the clarity of the morning after, rico. Haha.

I love Cesc but he has played a part in this whole brouhahahaha. For someone who only months ago said that “xxx I think Arsenal Football Club is above all elseβ€”every single player in its history, the fans, the club, and myself. I think we deserve a little more respect.”, he has certainly done little to quell speculation regarding his transfer.

I understand all about being media-savvy and not burning bridges, but come on, our club deserves better from its captain than “I’m not in a rush to leave.”

Time and again he has left Barca the perfect segue to proclaim that he will be brought back, and resurrect that DNA statement, which, quite frankly is not just old but creepy, and time and again, the club has been left to deal with the fallout.

Leave, you will, Cesc. We know. We get it. I just hope he’d try to sound less eager about it.

  27. agirlagunner says:

Hola, Erick, haven’t been able to catch you. How are you doing? School’s over, yeah?

  28. Erick says:

Holiday then a strike Agag think students are having lots of GG and Cesc too but we will have to be strong we are the Arsenal and as Parlour said we just need to get as much money as we can for him

  29. JonJon says:

    evening guys..

whats new?? anything from the club yet??

  30. agirlagunner says:

I hope you’ve been spiking your milkshakes, Erick. By the looks of it, it will be a loooooong summer.

If we are in a selling mood, I hope that it’s a price that hurts Barca. They deserve it.

    A strike? that can’t be good…

  31. Erick says:

JJ Hill statement that we aint selling nothing new. AGAG yeah student leaders election were mared with violence no window was left standing so we have to wait to be recalled and am supposed to clear in december what luck

  32. agirlagunner says:

Nothing, jj. We are left to whirl in this Cescpool. 😦

  33. Erick says:

Agag Wath aint around my milkshake is free of any GG need a fix

  34. agirlagunner says:

That’s awful, Erick. I hope things are resolved soon. But be safe.

  35. JonJon says:

i really hope this isnt another adebyewhore saga

where the whole thing drags all over summer and wenger does naff all in the market

  36. agirlagunner says:

Sending you a thimble, Erick. Baby steps…

  37. rico says:

jj, i think its either done before the world cup or not at all, cesc has ‘said that’ himself…, whats that, three weeks?

  38. agirlagunner says:

The way it’s looking, it will drag interminably on, jj.

I sure hope our manaagement has been given a shake-up. We need to shape up!!! I hope tis is a summer of purchases.

  39. agirlagunner says:

But rico, it’s not looking like Barca have any intntion of stopping the tapping up.

I hope or club files an official complaint against them.

  40. Erick says:

Rico evening πŸ™‚ thanks Agag but this is a real test for Aw hope it knocks some sense in him and he makes world class purchases

  41. JonJon says:

problem with that is i thought we were going to do all our dealings before the world cup..

    not fight off barca..

  42. rico says:

    Hi Erick πŸ™‚

AGAG, the club need to show some doo dar’s and report barca at some stage, its beyond a joke the way they continue to tap our players up… 😦

  43. Erick says:

They don’t need Cesc they are just trying to unsettle him so when they need him it will be easier but if he stays we need ready replacement

  44. rico says:

JJ, email alert, and I am so sorry 😦 😦

  45. Erick says:

True JJ this was not planned for we knew it but ignored it we didn’t know it was going to be this strong. The reporting Agag and Rico wont work the problem is that Cesc started it all

  46. JonJon says:

    ooo sounds bad rico.. 😦

    let me check

  47. JonJon says:

has anyone read what merse had to say about it all??

  48. Erick says:

JJ last time you said merse i had no idea πŸ™‚ but am a quick learner πŸ˜‰

  49. agirlagunner says:

You’re right, Erick. Cesc did have a hand in this. 😦

Tomorrow is another battling day. Tonight, I’ll sleep.

    Goodnight, everyone.

  50. Erick says:

JJ I like the part ‘oh dont kick me’ hate him or love him he makes sense but Gerrard to replace Cesc that am not sure about

  51. Erick says:

Nite nite Agag sleep tite πŸ˜‰ πŸ˜‰

  52. JonJon says:

    quite the contrary erick..

ive always liked merse and stuck up for him many a times.. there has been moments when hes said things that piss me off..but generally i always agree with merse

  53. rico says:

    Night agag

i thought that was just a daft story jj about gerrad, surely he wouldn’t would he….

Erick, you are right, cesc has started all this by saying he wants to go to barca….

  54. rico says:

i love the way merse says things about three times in one sentence, he’s no fool though…..

  55. Erick says:

Another thing i liked is when he says we reach a point when we don’t know how to win we just struggle so true against stoke in the Fa cup spot on

  56. JonJon says:

merse is a crack up..hes abit dopey but hes one of the lads..

i dont know if gerrard could play for anyone else like he plays for liverpool

hes basically a heart and soul type of player but to be honest his heart didnt seem in it last season..

  57. Erick says:

He wouldn’t move Jj believe that may be its time for Aw to move for Yoan but after what the president of said i doubt we can well its 9:30 in Nairobi nite all thanks for the vibe

  58. JonJon says:

    cheers guys

  59. rico says:

Im done too folks, nighty night, stay safe

  60. raif says:

    anyone about??

  61. Mustang says:

    Knock, knock?

  62. JonJon says:

    New Post

  63. SD-London says:

I do appreciate how the Arsenal board is managing the club in making sure we are self sufficient. But i just noticed an oversight and i think it might have cost us many trophies , at least 3 in the past 5years.

My point; The board should have given Wenger at least Β£50million like 4years ago(after dissolving the invicibles)to strenghten the team with world class players with good contracts added. Then no need to buy anybody for the next 4years(now).

We have gone 5years without a trohphy and Wenger will have to spend now, wether he likes it or not ,therefore Arsenal making profit or not wouldn’t have affected the need to spend up to Β£50million anyways(4years ago).

We might still have Henry,Flamini,Hleb, and maybe 4 other world class players added and Song,Walcott , Ramsey, Diaby,Gibson,Wilshire will be learning the trade and siezing their opportunities when it comes (which is the way it should have being anyways).

I think Wenger and the board got it wrong in setting priororities.

  64. zhenyu says:

I really hope Real Madrid cut in and became the third party.. Surely by then we could inflat the price and see Budgetlona panick.. 30m 4 Cesc?? Dream on!! it is 80m. they are blind…
