Taxi for Nikki!! Thank god we’ve got Theo!!

He did well didn’t he? Theo finally produced a match winning performance after four years of trying and it was nice to see him scare the shit out of defences.

Lets not get carried away though. Burnley are relegation fodder. They’ve got a manager who’d get them relegated in a pub league and a squad that deserves to be relegated. The slick passing side that Coyle developed has gone and they are in deep trouble. It was a game where you’d expect someone like Theo to turn it on so he’s still got a long way to go, that being said it was a bloody good start.

What was refreshing to see was the extra option Theo gave us. It’s become a regular thing were teams play a certain way against us to beat us. They sit back and tuck their full backs tucked in, compressing the space through the middle making it hard to pass through them in the final third, then allowing us to play the wings to waste our possession in the hope they might ht us on the break. Burnley seemed to apply this tactic but Theo made the wing a dangerous place for Burnley..

I think his performance on Wednesday for the national side has shook him up..Arsenal fans all over the country watch him play week in week out and we all know he’s been poor for a long long time. On Wednesday night he took that form into the national scene and showed the whole country how poor he’s been and the criticism he’s received has woke him up a little.

Theos performance was long overdue.

The game itself was very frustrating. With the impressive Nasri lighting the pitch on fire through the middle and Theo tearing them a new one out wide, Burnley were being pulled apart all over the place. Chance after chance was going astray and you got a feeling it was going to be one of those days. We dominated they play, constantly banging on the door and with Nikki leaving his shooting boots at home it left the fans biting the end of their nails until the 90th minute when we should have really set a new PL record for goals scored in a game..

Nikki’s such a frustrating player to watch. He reads the game well, links up play well and gets himself in some great positions but he just can’t finish..He was a very lucky boy. If we’d have been playing anybody else but Burnley we may have lost that game because of Nikki’s slackness in front of goal. Fair play to him for not letting his head drop but come on Nik, get it together we cant afford you to have another game like that you need to be putting them away. They weren’t even half chances, they were gilt edge, put on a plate, practically open goal chances and he missed the lot..Arry’s wife would have scored with those chances. Somebody needs to spend a few extra hours after training learning to hit the back of the net i think..

Even with all the world-class misses Bendtner was providing, the goals we did score were very good.

Cescs was a peach. With the half seemingly turning into nothing, Nasri cleverly dinked a ball over the top of the 11 players stood in the Burnley box and Cesc ran onto it and hit it first time into the back of the net. Clever goal..

Squeaky bum time kicked in as El Capitan was taken off with another hamstring problem and Nikki’s misses were coming back to bite us on the arse as Nugent ran on to a head and hope and shinned it over Almunia, but not to fear, as Theo settled the nerves and showed Nikki how its done. Sick of creating chances just for them to be fluffed, Theo cut back inside onto his left and curled a pearler past Jensen. His performance deserved that goal and it was time to finish Burnley off and go for the kill.

This didn’t come until the dying minutes when AA does what AA does best and beat Jensen with a drive at the near post which didn’t seem possible after being thread through by Nasri..

Good goals, good result, should have been a cricket score though..

Ratings

ALMUNIA..6..Other than the goal didn’t really have to do much. But it doesn’t matter who plays in goal you still expect us to concede

EBOUE..6..Decent shift once again. Has gone from class clown to good squad player in space of a year

CLICHY..6..seems to be regaining form

SILVESTRE..6..didnt have much to do thank god

TOMMY V..6..quiet game for him, but still solid

DENILSON..6..good enough for the little teams, Song wont be missed too much

TOMMY R..7..good to see him starting a game, nice to see him staying fit too and getting a run in the team.

CESC..7..pulled the strings, scored a goal, pulled a hamstring. But he can play 5 minutes or 95 minutes and he still does something special

NASRI..9..very impressive. Took control of the midfield after Cesc went off. He was on fire..

THEO..9..did everything you want him to do. Run at defenders, use his pace, score a goal and find a final ball. Well done

NIKKI..5..Taxi!!!!!

SUBS

DIABY..6..did nothing wrong

DUDU..5..not on long enough

AA..7..super finish

Three goals, three points, three horse race!!!!!

Lets keep the pressure on the leaders, they will drop points so we just need to keep going and believing we can get three points from every game.

Morning peoples, top bananna JJ, bit harsh on Eboue, just a 6, i thought he was pretty good.. 😉

  2. rico says:

Off to walk the pups, back in an hour to big up Theo 🙂

  3. When Walcott starts regularly producing performances like this one, then you can start throwing all the praise his way.

He was good yesterday, I will agree. But this was against Burnley. Should have had more assists for all his work to provide Bendtner with his chances.

However his first half contributions were minimal. I wonder if Wenger gave him a talking to at half time? Second half he was the player we want him to be, apart from the moment where he couldn’t control the ball by the corner flag!

So props to Theo for coming through with a good second half. Lets hold off the “He’s a world class player” lines which we are bound to read until he’s more consistent.

  4. JonJon says:

    totally agree ashburton

ive been one of his biggest critcs..ive even said we should sell him but he did the job yesterday..

another 10 like that this season and i’ll change my mind about selling him

  5. gunner90 says:

I would have given Denilson a 1 and that is only for making up the numbers!! He did virtually nothing throughout the game as usual. Now with Ramsay out for some time, Wenger must get another defensive midfielder in the summer!

  6. Erick says:

Nice Post JJ Nikki needs to get his act together if it was Cristiano,Torres or Drogba they could be so mad at themselves for missing such chance if he is to become a world class Striker his finishing should be more ruthless

  7. JonJon says:

    morning g90

dont think i mind denilson when he does nothing..its when he starts to do something he gets in the way..

hes ok for teams like burnley

but i agree id like to see another midfielder in summer

  8. JonJon says:

    hi erick

nikkis never been a finisher…and it aint a confidence problem cos hes hit 3 in 3 games…

he just has peaks and troughs..

dudus are only finisher but his games in bits at the minute

  9. Erick says:

Gunner90 I have to disagree with you on Denilson he was more like Theo poor first half but up his game in the second got into the dirty job, fed the strikers, tried to move the ball forward especially when we were 2-1 up

  10. Yunusa okonkwo says:

Good game i hope that fabregas and gallas or campbel get fit b4 our game with porto becouse we cant take the risk of playing that man/u scrab
    Play on that day

  11. Erick says:

JJ Nikki is an average player with his age it might go either way but if we are really to Challenge for honours the midfield must score more goals especially against Porto any chance we get will be price less if they are to get the away goal

  12. JonJon says:

nikkis a good squad player though..

frustrating at times yes but he does offer the side alot when he plays…its only his finishing that makes him average..

he gets into the positions he reads the play well..he just struggles when it comes to scoring..

i think if that part of his game will come in time..hes not a natural finisher so we’ll have to be patient and see if it comes..if it does he’ll be more than average

on yesterdays display though yeah you cant really defend him that much

  13. JonJon says:

porto will be much like the burnley game..

they aint that good they got lucky at home cos we gave them the goals

but your right we need to hit the net..lets hope nikki just saving himself

  14. JonJon says:

    hi yunusa

i think we should rest cesc against porto..maybe even against hull too

hes too important to lose for a few weeks and its the same hamsting he did against villa so obviously its still sore and hes probably being playing through it…

with nikki dudu AA and theo up top it means we can push nasri back into the cesc role and judging by yesterday he’ll do ok for a few games…he prefers the middle to the wings

  15. just a fan says:

oh nikki nikki nikki, great game but make sure you bring you shooting boots tuesday.

    come on Gooners

  16. gnarleygeorge9 says:

    Evening JonJon

    Oh happy days 😀

  17. Erick says:

Porto = Burnely that i doubt lad they have quality player who can score goals but if we can get an early goal dictate the pace we will be Ok with Song playing am sure the defence will be protected

  18. JonJon says:

    which colour?

the bogie green ones or the pink kinky boots..

eithers better than the ‘cant finish his dinner’ boots

  19. JonJon says:

    hi GG

    feeling confident?? 😉

  20. JonJon says:

    we’ll dominate porto erick..

it will be one way traffic..we just need to stop giving away the sloppy goals and stop making it hard on ourselves..

we do that and we’ll romp it 3 or 4 nil…really porto aint that good…

  21. Erick says:

Just a Fan please him a message so he doesnt 4get his shooting boots 🙂

  22. JonJon says:

he might be better playing barefoot

  23. Erick says:

I bet AW will have an headache especially in midfied with AA,Rosicky,Diaby,Nasir, Theo, Eboue, Cesc,Song and least likely Denilson to choose from

  24. rico says:

Another bit about Theo I like yesterday, the pass he fizzed in off the outside of his boot and he showed determination to keep a ball in that was head out, again he got a good accurate ball in.

  25. Erick says:

JJ barefoot is ok if it comes with goals 🙂

  26. JonJon says:

he did alot of things well yesterday rico..

he still made some theo type cock ups liking running the ball out of play but he did well

yeah erick but its a good headache to have

  27. rico says:

As long as Cesc is fit, we will have one of our strongest squads available for Porto. Bar Gallas and Robing of cours, but Big Sol will be in, and he will up for this return match.

Almunia should be too, he should be out to prove AW made a mistake to leave him out in the first leg..

  28. rico says:

JJ, I think he grew as the game went on, it was the right game at the right time for him after all the critics – ever Shearer raved about him, shiver me old timbers…

He needs to perform like that on Tuesday to convince and I think he might..

  29. JonJon says:

    barefoot with pink toenail varnish….

i wouldnt put it past him..but if he scored i wouldnt be bothered

  30. JonJon says:

thing is rico if he wants ppl to believe in him again hes got 10 games againt piss easy teams to do it..

he’ll never have a better chance than now to prove everyone wrong

  31. rico says:

neither would i, he could swing a handbag at the same time and i wouldnt give two hoots 😉

  32. JonJon says:

i honestly would risk cesc against porto..

put rosicky and nasri in the middle with either diaby or song…should be enough to beat them

  33. rico says:

In one JJ, this is his time….

Have we just signed Zola Budd 😉

  34. JonJon says:

i hated nikki when he wore them pink soho boots…but i thought the boots were funny…10 out of 10 for arrogance…and poofness…

  35. JonJon says:

    zola budd.. lol

  36. Erick says:

I have a feeling Theo will start on the bench with AA taking the right and Nasir on the left, Cesc is sure to start. Rico how was the walk 🙂

  37. Harry Barracuda says:

Nasri took control of the midfield? Fcuk me, how pissed were you?

Abu Dhabi did the legwork mate, he was everywhere and he kept the ball much better than usual as well.

We dropped considerably when Nik went off and, because they had nowt to worry about at the back, the northern monkeys were able to apply a little bit of pressure.

  38. rico says:

Hi Erick, bit nippy but lovely thanks 🙂

  39. JonJon says:

    dont agree ‘arry

diaby was anonamous..nasri controlled the centre

cant remember a single diaby contribution..i remember seeing plenty of nasri though..

  40. oskar says:

Porto isn’t all that. With Arshavin back in the squad we will outplay them and qualify for the quarterfinals again

  41. rico says:

Harry – nice of you to drop in with an insult! Nasri had a great game, its not easy to fill the boots of Cesc.

It was more difficult up top after Nikki went off because we couldn’t hold the ball – however, had he had scored two of him zillion chances the game wouldn’t have been so dodgy at the end…

  42. JonJon says:

diaby did as much as denilson..they did ok but nasri stood out by a mile

    ray charles could see that

  43. JonJon says:

    agree with oskar

  44. rico says:

Added to that Harry, I bet Burnley were more concerned after Nik went off, we bought a goal scorer on 😉

  45. Erick says:

Harry Diaby had some good foot work but according to his normal standards he was a bit low but he was coming from an injury thats acceptable Good to hear Rico any chance of me adopting the little ones 🙂

  46. rico says:

    Absolutely none Erick 🙂

  47. rico says:

oskar, spot on – look at the aquad we will have available

    Cesc
    Rosicky
    Sol
    TV
    Nasri
    Walcott
    Diaby
    AA
    Eduardo
    Song
    Eboue
    Sagna
    Clichy
    Almunia
    Nik
    Oh, Denilson and Silvestre 😉

    Did i miss anyone out..

  48. JonJon says:

its ok erick..rico got a hole in her fence and her puppies keep escaping…

just be there to grab them when they pop out….

  49. JonJon says:

    gallas might be back too..

only long termers are rambo jd and rvp…

  50. rico says:

    I have fixed it 😆

  51. K-TR7 says:

Nik missed chances yesterday but atleast he gets into the positions.when he went off we didn’t have a shot on goal till the 88th minute.he occupies defenders and holds up play well.TR7 looked razor sharp and looked to have gained a yard of pace, his confidence is coming back.TW14 was sublime, more of the same theo.Nasri was MOM for me,he worked so hard both in offence and defence, his assist to cesc was sublime.AA’s celebration showed how much the goal meant to him after his poor form and injuries, well done AA.Fab gave a masterclass in attack, scored and was off,he really is a genius.Robin is due midapril according to AW and if spuds reach the FA semis our match will be postponed, wouldn’t it be sweet to win the league at the lane again?

  52. Erick says:

Tough luck 4me Rico. That squad is quality enough to get us through we just need the best mix we are good to go but you forgot Freeman 🙂

  53. rico says:

Gallas back, that’s going to be tough – does Sol play or Gallas??

If Cesc doesn’t play, Nasri has to play alongside Song surely?

  54. rico says:

KTR7, if his first one had gone in, I think he would have converted the others. we won and it didn’t matter in the end, maybe he will more than make up for it on Tuesday..

And, yes, wouldn’t it be very sweet

Freeman, how could I forget him Erick 😉

  55. Erick says:

Thanks JJ for the headup she has probably started the repair work now. K-TR7 i agree with you all the way but am worried about AA he seems lazy especially when he gives away possession or when he should cover Clichy yesterday he exposed Clichy so much that i was shouting at the t.v that i am concerned

  56. Erick says:

Rico thats why we are all here to remind each other Long live Avenell Road

  57. rico says:

Oh and JJ, you leave my puppies alone 😉 😳

  58. rico says:

    Nice one Erick 🙂

  59. rico says:

    And you Erick 😉

  60. Erick says:

🙂 Rico you feel i have a genuine concern with AA

  61. JonJon says:

its ok rico im a leg and bum man myself…

id watch out for erick though… 😉

  62. K-TR7 says:

Clichy is coming on leaps and bounds.AA’s return means clichy will be exposed, diaby will be vital as clichy’s cover.diaby was solid but not spectacular since he is returning from injury.AA has to raise his workrate, though he has cutting edge,we will miss TR7/Nasri’s workrate on the left.Eboue did well too.that was nasri’s best performance since newcastle away last season.if cesc isn’t 100% against porto,nasri/tr7 could take the mantle on tuesday.TR7&TW14 are gaining form and confidence at the right moment, nasri and clichy too.Robin reckons he could be back early april, while AW midapril, all in all he is not far off,he could make cl quarters, mancity and spuds.i hope he can comeback breathing fire ready to push us over the finishing line.

  63. rico says:

    😆 JJ

I do get that feeling Erick, Diaby will be in front of Clichy against Porto, that should reassure you a bit 😉

AA will be in a front three I suspect … Not that I know that of course 😉

  64. JonJon says:

i think your concerns are valid with AA, erick
    i see your point..

but the way i see it is that he aint no workhorse..you dont want him running up and down the pitch wearing himself out..

i prefer him attacking than defending…clichy is exposed because of the 433..the same with sagna…

its the midfields job to protect the defence but with three CM’s it leaves them exposed a little cos we have no width..your left expecting your strikers to cover and they aint gonna do it unless they dirk kyut..a workman type player…

which is why i keep banging on about having a duracell bunny type player in there to run about abit..like flamini used to..a player in that mould would be fantastic…

its ok asking your strikers to come back and defend but u dont really want them running up and down the pitch all game… you dont see drogba doing it you dont see torres doing in u never saw bergkamp doing it so i dont know why we expect AA to do it…

  65. rico says:

Hope Denilson doesnt start Tuesday, he for sure won’t do it 😉

  66. rico says:

Off out for lunch peeps, back in a little while…

  67. JonJon says:

its the only problem with the 433

when you have to defend it changes into a 451 and if your playing with 3 strikers the wide players of the 3 aint gonna wanna come tracking back all the time…

its why sometimes wenger goes with eboue or nasri or rosicky as the wide strikers cos he knows they’ll track back

if your front three consist of dudu rvp and AA dont expect any tracking back

  68. rico says:

just before i go, i reckon the cesc injury is spin….

    Come on Reading 🙂

    See you later

  69. Erick says:

Thanks all so AA is kind of a second striker his defence work is limited, how i miss Flamini work ethic but i get it more clear now with Diaby in there Clichy is more covered but agree with you the Clichy who would make Cristiano have a bad day is back but the Burnely goal we conceded was a bit harsh for us but our defense is improving

  70. jon jon says:

i think eboue should at least get a 7?

  71. JonJon says:

brian laws just made me laugh..he said bendnter was burnleys best player..

    lol

  72. Erick says:

Cheers Rico forget the Repair work go for lunch 🙂 🙂

  73. Erick says:

JJ he knows the club would have refunded the travelling fans expenses if he hit them 10 nil

  74. K-TR7 says:

Anyone catch realm v sevilla match yesterday,it was the best match i’ve seen.cr9 delivered a masterclass in attack, kaka was poor.van der vaart scored the winner as real came from two nil down to win 3-2.Barca drew 2-2 with almeria, messi saved their skins, ibra was sent off for an off the ball incident, real now lead on goal difference.onto arsenal,as i said in yesterday’s post,he doesn’t need to be messi to be a great player.yesterday in 2nd half,he played a perfect match,he used his pace well, made all the right decisions, scored and scared the living hell out of defenders, more of the same theo.Against porto we only need song back,sol/gallas,sagna and the defence will be fine.

  75. Erick says:

    he=we

  76. Erick says:

K-TR7 Theo at some point showed Cristiano how its done with some nice off the ball foot work amazing lad

  77. JonJon says:

    ktr7

kakas been pretty poor since hes been there…

to say real madrid have spent all that money they should really have won every match they play in

  78. Erick says:

Never watched any La-liga match KaKa seems to shine 4 Brazil and flop for his club

  79. Erick says:

JJ I consider RVP more of a Kuyt he tracks back especially when he gives away the possession

  80. K-TR7 says:

Van der vaart looks better than kaka when he was on,but cr9 has been their best buy.he seems more of a teamwork guy at real than at manu.flamini was milan’s best player vs roma in the nil nil draw while hunterlaar missed a seater.Against porto,i think both AA and theo will start to score early then bring on the likes of TR7 to give us the tactical edge.i think big al is slowly improving too.where are tr7 and cesc getting their extra yards of pace?eddy needs it.i was delighted for theo and if he can keep improving,he will have the second seat in the plane after rooney.we need rvp back asap.he scores, creates, scares defenders and sublime setpiece delivery.vermy and gallas scored alot of headed goals but they have dried up abit.rvp’s setpiece delivery is criminally underrated.

  81. JonJon says:

    not really…

rvp more like bendtner…they’ll track back in the centre..epsecially if they lose the ball

or they’ll come deep to get the ball…

but you wont see rvp running up and down the wing all game…what half decent striker wants to??

he’ll stay up top or he’ll drop off but he wont do shuttle runs like kyut does..

you can tell AA hasnt been brought up playing wengerball cos he expects the midfield to win it back…which is old school…but AA like bergkamp used to be…he aint lazy he just gets active when balls in attack

adebayor was lazy..he wouldnt run with or without the ball..wanted everything put on a plate…

AA might not be defensively sound but he still looks for the ball and comes alive in attack..not lazy just the way he plays..and as long as he bangs the goals in who cares if he loses the ball or doesnt run around like a headless chicken…

we paid 15 million for someone who will help in the attacking side of things not the defensive side..

if we wanted a striker who would run around like a dipstick we’d of bought emile heskey instead…

  82. JonJon says:

    ktr7

yeah robins set pieces are sublime..exept for when hes shooting…

he shouldnt take the free kicks no more..weve scored more whilest hes been out than what he done in three years

  83. Erick says:

K-TR7 I though Rosicky was having a great much i didnt understand why AW decide to sub him . JJ AA has this disinterested look when things start going wrong he is not a team player and does not appreciate his team mates when they try something and works he may have the skill and goal scoring ability but without team work things get tougher

  84. K-TR7 says:

Jj-his delivery is second to none in the squad.when he gets his angles right in direct freekicks its impossible to stop them since he has the most powerful left foot shot in the league/world.his technique is unmatched and thats why its almost impossible to save his penalties even van der sar said so.he is the most technically skilled player in the squad and dutch best player according to van basten.i hope when he returns,he fires on all cylinders like he did for the dutch in euro08,along with the form of our squad we may be on course for a happy ending.

  85. K-TR7 says:

Erick-AW subbed rosicky since he had played 67 minutes midweek and didn’t want to risk an injury since his experience is crucial in the run in.he along with rvp has a magical first touch such that burnley defenders had to foul him all the time;on his day he is a handful, difficult to disposses and is pretty skillful.he is an advanced version of nasri.

  86. JonJon says:

    thats true erick
footballs a team game but you need individuals who can do something special to turn a match on its head

AA might not be the perfect team player but when the team game aint working and you need someone to step up and smash a screamer from 35 yards that the keeper doesnt even dive for then AA your man

i know ppl are on his back this year but lets face it last year when we bought him cesc was out and we couldnt score for love no money and we were 6 points behind villa and sinking fast..

the man came in and turned our season round…he wasnt playing any different to waht he is now

ppl are looking at the negative side of his game and forgetting about the positves

    hes a big game player

    the 4 goals v liverpool
the goal from nothing against liverpool and manure realier in season

we need him in the team…his technique is amzazing and his shot is like a bullet..cant be stopped..

forget all this he looks disinterested business, cos one minute it seems like hes doing nothing and the next the balls in the net form nowhere..

we look at the negatives of the man and yet when he was leading the line by himself we are still top scorers in the league and bang in this title race

for all his wrongs he must be doing something right..and thats what counts…

id rather have an AA than a kyut

  87. Erick says:

K-TR7 thats true RVP can bend them with power, Dudu had started to bend them but injuries struck again but i have to give it to Denilson he did bend one for the fans 🙂 🙂

  88. JonJon says:

yeah his delivery technique is very good Ktr7 but he still cant score fom free kicks

he cant get the ball up and down the wall without it hitting satellite dishes or coming back down with ice caps on it

crosses yes..his crosses are world class from free kicks and his pens are good too but he has a real problem shooting from a free kick and thats why hes not scored from one in 3 years

  89. Erick says:

JJ I hear you and your have good point bt i believe in team work thats all

  90. JonJon says:

nothing wrong with team work mate

its a team game after all…but when the pretty triangles dont work and the teams out of ideas AA’a your man

he’s a worldclass player..you get mood swings with them sometimes..

henry was won of the cockiest arrogant players you’ll ever see play..sometimes he’d chip in but sometimes more often than not he’d stand with his hands on his hips…than bang..it was in the net..

you juts gotta take the rough with the smooth…

  91. W.A.T.H says:

Did someone mention rico’s puppies 🙂

Greetings all…. Ebooooie a 6 JJ that’s a bit harsh me thinks…. As 4 crapilson he’s always the wrong side of the player never passes forward and generally just makes a kit in need of a wash….!

  92. JonJon says:

and to be honest hes looked really unhappy until nikkis return cos he has been a team player..he’s been taking one for the team..

being a lonestriker isnt easy..especially when it aint your natural pos and your built like someone from the set of wizard of oz

his own game went out of the window cos wenger needed him to do a job he doesnt like doing..but he did it..

  93. K-TR7 says:

I get your point jj.AA will come alive when you’re trailing or need a goal desperately like yesterday.his talent is undeniable, even AW said AA won’t play 90 minutes,he plays around 20 but those are decisive.i love the guy and think he will be fired up for porto since it will be his first ever cl knockout game in his career.on theo, yesterday he performed well but wasn’t motm.the press are putting him on a pedestal which leads to excessive pressure on him.when he underperforms tqe same press will tear him to shreds which is unfair.rvp will score freekicks once again,he just needs one to go in and they will flow just like we need one trophy for the others to follow.

  94. W.A.T.H says:

AA will be a lot better now he has a “front” man to do the target role…. gives him freedom to roam and cause danger and thats exactly where he is best so your spot on JJ…..

  95. afternoon all
did you see how AA snub AW when he went off?
just walked past as if he wasnt there.

  96. JonJon says:

i think he does that every game though dont he rsd

he never stays on pitch i dont think

just goes straight down tunnel…i dont think those two see eye to eye anyway and it wont suprise me if AA left ar some point soon

  97. JonJon says:

    hi wath

yeah ricos puppies are talk of town again

eboue did ok..nothing special just a good shift with a few good touches

  98. W.A.T.H says:

Nothing wrong with cute puppies 🙂

Least Song can play tuesday and crapilson can revert back to sweeping the dressing room clean…!

  99. JonJon says:

especially when they keep popping out..

yeah song back for porto and diaby or denilson for hull

    should be ok

  100. I don’t think they do i nb reading an article about AA disagreeing with AW in training last season
AA apparently said “do what thats just stupid”
to wenger and the rest of them were amazed
    you can question wenger

i think you got report spot by the jj
    apart from the hurricane

  101. W.A.T.H says:

Popping out puppies hmmmmmmmmmmm well they always pleased to see you too 🙂

2b honest JJ the further away from the squad crapilson is the better….! Diaby for Hull…!

  102. JonJon says:

i couldnt really give the dfenders much cos they didnt do much defending.. 😉

  103. JonJon says:

i can deal with him against the likes of hull as a last resort, wath

its when we play teams at the top end of the table i get the heebygeebies about him..

  104. zigzagengineer says:

Nasri was MOM for me. If not then Rosicki or Ebue. Theo was good but not that good. I’m dying to see Eduardo gaining confidence (and pace!) for despite my liking Nik he’s so frustrating! Still, if we manage to win something this season with all our injuries and no RvP, it will show what a class act we are.

  105. W.A.T.H says:

I just get the hump even when I see his name on the bench mate………. He’s just a nitemare…! Offers nothing at all…!

  106. JonJon says:

    we a class act anyway..

spent naff all and still challenging for title..

  107. Erick says:

JJ you said Crap can play both Hull and Burnely and you wont loose any sleep but at Hull you will have nightmares if he play believe that

  108. JonJon says:

    hull are shit..

they relying on crocked bullard to save them..

lets be honest denilson wouldnt get into anyones arsenal 1st team and we all rip the piss out of him but if he played for hull he’d be there second best midfielder..

  109. JonJon says:

    he’ll do for hull

you wont notice him anyway hull will be stuck in they own box for 90 mins

  110. Erick says:

ZigZag am with you dying to see Eduardo at his best his clinical finishing Men we want the real Dudu back 😦

  111. Erick says:

I thought Denilson played a decent second half by his standards lets give it to him right

  112. JonJon says:

i think dudus problem is the mental one..

when you see your foot hanging off and it takes you 18 months to get running again his heads bound to be in bits for a while

hes lucky to be walking properly again after what happened

theres no doubt hes a top player but when it comes to it hes never going to be able to give us 100%..defences know it and will fly in with studs up whenever he shoots just to put him off…so far its working

  113. Erick says:

Rico bad news for you Reading 2 AstonVilla 3 😦

  114. JonJon says:

really reading were up 2-0 too

wath i dont know why you keep going into spam mate..its always on my posts too i think..

have to have a word with avenell and see if its a wordpress malfunction

  115. Erick says:

JJ its rumoured Chamakakakaka (RSD likes this) its a done deal where do you think we need reinforcement?

  116. Erick says:

Carew hits a brace and Ashley young secure the lead 74 minutes played

  117. W.A.T.H says:

    I see you keep throwing m into “spam” JJ… it’s ok I get the hint….! 😛

  118. JonJon says:

we need a finisher erick so i dont know why we gone for chamkaka..hes just another forward who runs the channels, but hes free, hes african and hes from the french league so wenger was bound to move..the last guy who fit this description made him a 20mil profit

i think GK and midfeilder too

  119. rico says:

    Afternoon all….

  120. JonJon says:

    afternoon rico

  121. Erick says:

We have so many midfielders or your talking DM/HM?? I hear the france national keeper is good

  122. JonJon says:

    a more defensive type erick

a duracell bunny…energetic, box to box and likes a good scrap

  123. rico says:

What have i missed, any news on Cesc?

Reading are out, 4-2, can’t believe they let slip a 2-0 lead 😦

  124. Erick says:

Evening Rico Reading trailing 2-3 against Villa

  125. rico says:

    A Paddy kind of midfielder…

I reckon that Matuidi chap could be on his way to us in the summer..

  126. sorry 4
    afternoon rico
    we need a another LHM

  127. JonJon says:

i think he must be erick cos everyone keeps banging on about him..

ive never seen him if im honest

  128. rico says:

They lost 4-2 rsd, i hoped they would draw, Reading need the money – they played really well though so should be proud..

Hi Erick, who would you get in then for the midfielder?

  129. rico says:

    afternoon rsd 😉

If Chamakh has signed, I still think a CH, HM and a keeper..

Have a bit of a clear out too…

  130. JonJon says:

yeah a paddy type would be perfect..hard to find thouggh

    a parlour/flamini would do

  131. Erick says:

Rico and RSD can help us there what you think about the France national keeper forgot his name??

  132. JonJon says:

    lloris

  133. rico says:

    Bartez 🙂 😉

  134. his good but never gona happen he with lyon
he sign a contract only last year
    he’s got champions league football
    and he lives in france
why would you want to move to london?

  135. Erick says:

Rico i was thinking clonning Song 🙂 🙂 but Kenyan National called Mariga good in holding has an eye for goal Mancity tried to sign him but he was denied a work permit Inter picked in up no a Duracell though but would fit perfectly in our type of play

  136. rico says:

thats the one JJ, I dont know much about him either, I need to stop doing so much around the home and get back to keeping an eye open in the football world…

  137. rico says:

I would be happy with a clone of Song Erick, but with a little more pace – not much to ask for 😉

rsd, for the right money, anyone would move to London.. 😉

  138. rico says:

He doesn’t look that good JJ 😉

  139. Erick says:

Barthez retired from footie Rico 🙂 Illoris it is so sad he signed the other day

  140. JonJon says:

    rsd

    thats easy

    arsene wenger

what french player dont wanna play for him???

  141. rico says:

Tongue in cheek with Barthez Erick 😉

His best performance was when he gifted/passed the ball to Henry twice to secure a 3-1 over ole red nose, I am sure he had the same agent as Grobbelaar 😉

  142. Erick says:

The HM or DM should also have a decent shot the triangles are too much

  143. rico says:

Every French player wants to JJ, thats why Chamakh has chosen us over the dippers. The only ones who say they don’t are the ones he doesn’t want or are priced at stupid amounts..

  144. JonJon says:

    bartez wasnt that bad

where he went wrong was going to manure

fergie was looking for schmeical replacement which is massive task in itself and bartez made about 5 cockups and fergie shipped him out

i think fergie went though about 10 keepers before he realised the big dane was ireplaceable and finally settled for vds

  145. Erick says:

Matuidi what are his stats RSD

  146. rico says:

I liked him, but i think he was taking a bung sometimes…

  147. JonJon says:

walzing was supposed to be on arsenes radar last summer..

    like a young essien

  148. rico says:

Stats Erick, stats, they mean nowt 😉

I remember that JJ, thats why I think it could be this summer – maybe he had some loyalty to his club or something, bit like Chamakh..

  149. JonJon says:

yeah dont worry bwt stats erick..

according to the stats denilsons worth more than cesc…

  150. just like youtube clips hey jj
did like when llois takes out whats the german striker again
    helmet or something 😉

  151. W.A.T.H says:

We def need a keeper and def a right horrible hard bloke in central midfield… Also an out n out goalscorer NOT chmukkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk.

Hi rico 🙂 can’t beleive u totally ignored how much ur puppies are missing me 😛 🙂

  152. rico says:

Hi wath, I cannot cope with both you and JJ on the same day 😉 Leave my puupies alone 😉

  153. Erick says:

Stats say we have scored only once btw 0-20 minutes this season 🙂 🙂 chew that for supper

  154. JonJon says:

    lol

yeah rsd..thats why i put manny up there too..

going by the youtube you’d say manny was a decent keeper too…

you need to really watch a player before you sign him and thats why wengers got about a zillion scouts…

  155. W.A.T.H says:

Leave them alone………… you should be so lucky…. 🙂 All that attention 🙂

  156. Erick says:

WATH if we get Chamaka our business will be done i also believe Wenger wont be getting a keeper probably a DM OR HM

  157. JonJon says:

    they’ll be changes erick

they is evey season..alldepends on gallas whether we buy a new CB

midfielder could be on cards though…

rambo out for a bit..rosicky getting older..30 old in arsenal years so would be suprised

  158. W.A.T.H says:

We will def buy a centre half and a keeper, minimum….. Erick you will be shocked at how many we buy in the summer mark my words…!

  159. Erick says:

Maximum of two player JJ and Minimum is one believe that Rico your Puppies are becoming famous

  160. Erick says:

    Chelsea 1 Stoke 0

  161. to be honest dont think wenger will sign anyone
    chamkakakaka is the only guy
    He’ll give us the line
“we must keep the players we’ve got ”
    would like a LHM
but i guess the conveyor belt everyone will move up
depends who if wenger see anyone he like in the world cup
    gallas will prob stay
just isn’t a quality keepers up for sale in our range
buffon is no starter a would really wont him anyway

  162. JonJon says:

if we lose gallas, sol, tweety, then wenger will go for defender

he already tried to sign smalling so…..

bartley might move up but i dont know if he ready yet

would like jet to be given a go next year

  163. Erick says:

I hope the world cup bring players that we need 2 or 3 but pure world class

  164. JonJon says:

if any players play well at world cup erick it will shoot they price up so i very much wenger will buy any superstar from the comp

but he might see someone who its the system and dig em out for a decent price…

  165. JonJon says:

everton are tearing hull to bits

cant wait til we play them

  166. away they’re shite but at home it’s different
    drew shitty and the pensioners

  167. but our away form
is whats keeping us in the title hunt this year

  168. Erick says:

Its going to be physical Hull away op we get past them injury free Big Sol got to play

  169. Erick says:

Away or home RSD Three points are Vital

  170. rico says:

I think the defender will be the one that was on trial, can’t recall his name…

  171. rico says:

Hull won’t be in ‘our faces’ – its too risky for them after Aaron Ramsey – the ref will be aware of all the comments, he may even be fair.. 😉

  172. great hull got whipped
lets hope they dont practice all week

  173. Erick says:

True Rico but we have a make or break game against Porto step by step lets

  174. rico says:

Erick, I pray for all our boys to stand up on Tuesday, show Porto we are much better than than two silly mistakes – early goal and game on….

Good news about Hull, i want them to play in the championship…

  175. rico says:

I’m off again for a bit, I am not so keen on Sundays, busy day for me….

  176. porto havent won for a couple of weeks now so is looking good

  177. Erick says:

    Come on Gunners

  178. suhel says:

    everton drilled hull 2day 5-1

  179. rico says:

    BOO!!!

    Who’s about??

  180. W.A.T.H says:

    Me…………….. what ya got..?

  181. rico says:

    nowt really, just saying hello….

  182. W.A.T.H says:

Allo 😉 seems u have had a busy day 2day….!

  183. rico says:

Sundays are always hectic wath, back to normal tomorrow – now i have to bid you good night, stay safe you and all

    Nighty night…

  184. W.A.T.H says:

Sleet tite and take care….. nite…!
