To my gifted friends. This stumped me.
If you can figure out how she does it please let me know.
I never even touched the cursor on my chosen number..
Once I did not even follow the directions, I just looked at the number and she still got it! This will drive you crazy!

  7. rico says:

I was watching SSN today, and I laughed my socks off, one Citeh fan was interviewed – he said

‘When I heard the breaking news on Sky Sports late last night I couldnt sleep, I sat up watching SSN’s all night’ – What a tosser, the news broke yesterday morning πŸ˜‰

  8. JonJon says:

    i aint joking either…. πŸ˜‰

i hope the news comes through..i want tomorrows post to be an ode to ade.. πŸ˜‰

  9. kelsey says:

    sorry doesn’t work on here

  10. Irishgunner says:

Will there be City fans dancing though?

They have changed their tune in the last few hours, they are beginning to see that we are happy and are wondering why we don’t care he’d leaving.

  11. rico says:

Oh, and I saw a guy with a gooner shirt on while shopping today – couldn’t resist asking him

    ‘Are you happy or sad?’

    He said – ‘What, Arsenal?’

I said , ‘No, Ade maybe be off’

He said ‘ Oh I haven’t read about that, what…..?

Is he a fan or what…..!!!

  12. JonJon says:

    sssshhhhhhhhhhhhhh rico…

  14. JonJon says:

    good point irish….

im really really upset…i couldnt sleep last night for wondering what would happen to our team without the modern day mr arsenal….

    citeh have a bargain….

whos gonna get us offsides…whoopps goals next season????

    boo hoo…

  15. Irishgunner says:

Admit it Jon Jon, you’ll miss the grin that accompanied the missing of a sitter or the 30th offside πŸ˜‰

  16. JonJon says:

im gonna miss the way he drifted out to the wing when we had a two on two with the defence and he is suppose to be our marksman…

im gonna miss the way he takes 5 touches to control the ball and he ends up stood next to almunia…

im gonna miss the way he would stroll around waiting for something to happen…

    what a player…

    170k a week….citeh are getting a bargain with that one…

  17. choy says:

    evening all…

wow.. all the ex le grovers in here..

just thought i’d drop in and say hello!

  18. Irishgunner says:

Why not just literally slap them on the wrists altogether πŸ™„

  19. Irishgunner says:

That was meant to be an eye roll, these new smilies are awful!!

  20. JonJon says:

    romans ‘had a word’ irish…

just like terry wont join citeh cos romans ‘had a word’

  21. rico says:

sorry all, had to go and get dandelion leaves for the chicks, and now i am exhausted – so off to preserve some energy by way of sleep, as tomorrow i will be partying the all night long –

cant wait for the departure post JonJon, no doubt its already written πŸ™‚

  24. avenell says:

Right I am back.. When is the unveiling..

  25. Rasputin says:

Melo’s gone to Juve then 😦

  26. JonJon says:

    evening cock…

just been over on wrightys site…i think he’s a mind reader he stole my idea…

  27. JonJon says:

    evening rasp… πŸ˜‰

  28. JonJon says:

    hello choy….

sorry about the were in mod because you used the L word…

not that we have anything against the L word…it just stops people using this site to slag them off…

  29. avenell says:

I’m pissed off by the way I just drove 170 miles to be shown a piece of shit that had been driven by two careful taxi drivers with hands like sandpaper.. Then on top of it all it was a Cat C write off..

Then when I said they were having a laugh.. they said I watch too many of those motoring programes on sky and it was okay..

Then I get home and Ade is still bloody with us.. NO.

  30. avenell says:

    Choy… how are you buddy??

  31. avenell says:

Drogba has just had his CL ban reduced to three games.. you can’t make it up..

  32. JonJon says:

ades been asked for time to make a decision…

    not good….

i think romans had one of his ‘words’ ave

  33. Rasputin says:

    Evening ave, JJ, choy…..

Nothings gonna be resolved tonight. I can’t imagine what Ade has to take time to think about……. He’s getting double wage – they want him – we hate him….simples!! Oh, I just remembered… he is very slow in the thinking department hence 43 offsides last season πŸ˜‰

  34. avenell says:

Evening Rasp.. He doesn’t want to be seen as greedy.. you know the bloke who whored himself around Europe..

He could donate half his wages to the people of Togo.. then he would be the messiah.. and he still have enough for his brothel parties around his house..

  35. JonJon says:

he’ll definately move…take a few days to make it look good to the public like hes really had to think about it then say the reason he moved was because of the fans…and not the 170k a week

  36. avenell says:

    Ade’s quote..

“It is not true, it is about money,” Adebayor is quoted as telling BBC Africa Sports editor Farayi Mungazi when asked whether it is true when footballers say that playing for a certain club is not about the wages.

“You are talking about in life and it is about money,” the 25-year-old continued.

“When we are young, of course we played because we loved the game, we play because we were passionate about the game.

“But now as soon as you reach a stage where you are professional and playing Champions League, after all those things we are talking about money.

“If it is not because of money, what am I going to be playing for Arsenal for? If it is not because of money I don’t think I would go to Arsenal to play. I would stay in my country, I would stay in Lome where everyone loves me.

“If it’s not because of money, I would not have come to Europe.”

  37. Rasputin says:

Evening ave – I reckon he’s having one last windup ….

  38. avenell says:

I just hope Man Citeh don’t think about it too much.. If they back out we are knackered.. He isn’t welcome at our gaff.. so we will have to sell him for that tin of carrots.. Value stripey labeled ones.. 😦

  39. JonJon says:

no other team will touch him ave…citeh need to close this deal…or we’ll never get rid…

  40. Rasputin says:

Mark Hughes had nothing to do with the signing of Robinho – I wonder how much influence he has had on the recent purchases – or even if he wants Ade at all. To these arab billionnaires, buying players is like collecting racehorses. Money has no meaning to them.

  41. avenell says:

    In Mark Hughes I trust..

  42. avenell says:

That isn’t true Rasp.. they had to take time out to phone Mark while he was playing golf to tell him who they had bought for him.. lol..

  43. JonJon says:

they’ll be the biggest laughing stock in football history if they fail to finish in the top 4…

  44. avenell says:

    Relegated.. haha..

  45. avenell says:

MH takes them into the bottom half, then they buy the speckled one to take them right down..

  46. JonJon says:

    haha the speckled one

  47. kelsey says:

    Good Morning,

I must say this saga is unbelievable, now it is alleged that adebayor wants time to think the deal over as he doesn’t want to offend the people of Togo as they all wear Arsenal shirts and haven’t heard of City.

  48. gnarleygeorge9 says:

Rico if you are there, Dennisdamennis is looking for you on your old blog, if you know what I mean.

  49. JonJon says:

    morning guys..

kelsey…its more like he wants milan to come in for him so hes stalling…

also he doesnt want to appear like hes movng too qiuckly….it will look like its for the money…

he’ll mull it over a few days and say its purely a football decision and the fans forced him out…

  50. rico says:

Morning all, just a quick hello and then off for a short while but will be back…

Nice to see choy has popped in, hope he comes back later πŸ™‚

Thanks george – will you say hi to him please if you don’t mind – sun here today so lets hope the cricket goes ahead.

kelsey – i saw that too, not so good eh 😦

    See you all shortly

  51. kelsey says:

from today’s SUN (yes i know what you are thinking)

Brian Marwood, City’s football administrator, flew down to London for more talks with the player on Wednesday. City have still to put him through a medical and have not booked one yet.

would they lie about him not having had a medical yet,i don’t see the point.

  52. Rasputin says:

    Morning Roadsters,

I should have thought that the people of Togo would be offended at the way he behaves for their national side. He seems to have assumed a god-like status in Africa…… not justified by the standard of his football. I think they are always looking for heroes and he’s the highest profile footballer over there at the moment.

We will be really stuffed if he stays 😦

  53. JonJon says:

hes finished kelsey…hes as good as gone….

arsenal would of come out by now and denied it…

  54. JonJon says:

    exactly rasp…
its all an act…hes playing for the sympathy vote

  55. peachesgooner says:

    Morning all

He talks such rubbish – hes on again about how the money isn’t important and then it is important…..City should insist he never speaks in public if he signs for them……

  56. JonJon says:

    hi peaches

he’ll be a citeh player by the weekend

  57. peachesgooner says:

Hi JonJon – I’m sure he will, and you’ll get your chance to dance at their party πŸ˜‰

  58. rico says:

    Morning again all

surely today we will hear something πŸ˜‰

  59. rico says:

Sky reckon Ade is stalling becuase he really wants to go to Meeeelan

  60. peachesgooner says:

Hi rico – how ridiculous is that Milan haven’t even sniffed this time have they………

  61. peachesgooner says:

Mind you, I’d much rather he went abroad – don’t really want to have to see him on MOTD….

  62. London says:

You guys are funny. I can imagine you all with your Champagne chilling in their ice buckets just ready to go wild. Are you sure this isn’t a City wind up? Just a bargaining ploy to reduce Etoo’s wages or are they going to use Adebayor to make a point that they cannot be pushed around financialy as easily it might seem, I mean they have just signed RSC do they really need him? It’s hot here.

  63. rico says:

Hi peaches, I have returned πŸ˜‰

Like you, I would rather he went abroad, just have this horrible feeling he will regain some form and can you imagine how you would feel if you were sat at The Emirates and he scored the winner against us….

Awful, just awful – mind you, the flag would probably go up just as he starts to celebrate πŸ˜‰

  64. rico says:

Hi London – Factor 50 for you I hope πŸ˜‰

  65. rico says:

NN have rumours that Manure could be interested πŸ˜›

  66. rico says:

interested in Ade that is πŸ˜‰

  67. peachesgooner says:

Hi London – we’re trying to get excited really we are πŸ˜€

What part of Egypt are you in? I went in March one year and had to get up at 4am to see anything – are you being tourists or snorkelling?

  68. peachesgooner says:

I have to be away from my computer for a while – keep a look out y’all πŸ™‚

  69. Rasputin says:

    From the ever reliable Sun…..

“ARSENE WENGER has been told top striker target Marouane Chamakh will cost Β£7million PLUS defender Mikael Silvestre.
The Arsenal boss offered that sum to Bordeaux but the French club rejected the bid β€” unless former Manchester United star Silvestre is also part of the deal.

Wenger sees Chamakh, 25, as a replacement for Emmanuel Adebayor, who is on the verge of a move to Manchester City.

Arsenal signed Ajax defender Thomas Vermaelen last month and Silvestre will find himself pushed further down the pecking order at the Emirates.

Chamakh is preparing for life in North London but if Silvestre is not part of the deal, Bordeaux will have no have no hesitation in holding on to their gifted striker for the final year of his contract.”

  70. Rasputin says:

I would have thought that getting rid of tweetypie as p[art of the deal would be an added bonus…….

  71. rico says:

    Morning Rasp

i thought the same, result the birdie is off too – can’t really see why its a problem, unless of course we are to lose a few defenders real soon

Freddie is fit, and England are batting first

  72. Rasputin says:

Hi rico – as centrebacks, we currently have 6 to choose from without Tweetypie = TV, Gallas, Kolo, JD, Phil, Song and more left backs than you can shake a stick at….. Even if we lose two of those, we’ll be OK. I can’t imagine why we’d want to keep hold of him… even big Phil is better πŸ˜‰

  73. Irishgunner says:

    Morning all,

Jeebus is he gone yet …. this is the point of no return.

Although the Fabiano deal to Milan has apparently stalled so they may be truth in them coming in for him.

  74. Rasputin says:

Re: cricket – the weather forecast is dismal for the next four days, I can see it being another draw. I don’t think Freddie is fit enough to bowl as many overs as we’d like, but let’s hope its quality instead of quantity.

  75. Rasputin says:

Morning Irish, what makes him think he’s worth Β£170k a week. It’s like when he compared himself to TH14 – just because the really class players they have bought command that level of waged doesn’t mean he’s worth it. They must be mad….. I can’t see MH wanting him, its just the arabs ‘collecting players’

  76. rico says:

    Morning Irish

Thats what I mean though Rasp, what if we are going to sell 2 or 3 defenders, Silvestre is the last one of our crop that I would keep, he is slow and hopeless πŸ˜‰

Quality rather that quantity Rasp, are you talking about Man Citehs squad or Freddie πŸ˜‰ πŸ˜‰ πŸ˜‰

  77. Irishgunner says:

    Morning Rasputin,

A City fan on Bleacher reckons he has been offered no where near Β£170k by City. Apparently Robinho is on Β£140k and he is the highest earner and wages won’t go above that – unless for John Terry I suppose.

Adebayor really has notions about himself.

He has already disrespected City before even joining them.

  78. Irishgunner says:

    Morning Rico

  79. Irishgunner says:

Ha ha ha City are been linked with Bentley – and not the fancy car πŸ˜†

  80. JonJon says:

theres no way back or him now..hes blown it a arsenal

two seasons..two pantomimes…..he’ll be sold this summer…keep the faith

  81. rico says:

I don’t think even a Bentley could cope with the amount of mileage that man has done whilst going from club to club πŸ˜‰

    Morning JonJon

  82. Irishgunner says:

It can’t happen now – but imagine if he stayed 😯

  83. JonJon says:

    morning irish/rico

  84. rico says:

No Irsih No, don’t give it another thought, but I don’t think he will go to Citeh now, I reckon he will go abroad – its all taking too long 😦

  85. Irishgunner says:

    Morning Jon Jon

I’m doing an Adebayor slideshow – to be nice or not to be nice to him that is the question πŸ˜‰

  86. Rasputin says:

Huntelaar’s better with his back to goal than Ade was in front of an open goal…..

  87. JonJon says:

he gone running to citeh to push milan into bidding for him….but its backfired and hes left with citeh…

    thats why hes stalling….

  88. rico says:

Rasp, there are a few good goals in that clip πŸ˜‰

I wonder if there is a chance of us getting him, Robin would be a very happy man, as would we be, imagine how many he would score in our set up….

  89. Rasputin says:

Hi rico – there is a question mark as to his pace and I’m not so sure Nik would be delighted if he arrived.

My gut feeling is that AW sees something in Chamakh that we mortals don’t – and he thinks he can turn another Β£7m prospect into a Β£25m asset.

    Cricket’s going well …. doh… that’s the kiss of death πŸ™‚

  90. rico says:

The French Kaka would do me just fine, but if Huntelllaaarrrr joins us, then I will be happy too – but Chamakh is half the price so I guess we know who Ebenez will prefer πŸ™‚

    I won’t mention the cricket πŸ˜‰

  91. peachesgooner says:

Crickets going well – can I say it cos I don’t know enough about it πŸ˜‰

  92. rico says:

peaches, for sure you can πŸ™‚

  93. rico says:

Mark Hughes has told SS that talks are now in the advanced stage – maybe today then, will he or won’t he πŸ˜‰

  94. Irishgunner says:

Maybe Adebayor is checking does he like the City bench πŸ˜‰

  95. Rasputin says:

Nice article and collection of pictures Irish … I’ve just noticed what an incredibly small head Ade has in relation to the size of his body … explains a lot πŸ˜‰

  96. Irishgunner says:

Ha ha I’ve never noticed that myself

  97. rico says:

    Ha ha Irish,

Off for a while, catch you later

  98. Irishgunner says:

Lucio and Hleb gone to Inter

  99. Evo in Oz says:

    gday all

  100. rico says:

Afternoon all – still no news then 😦

    How you doing Evo ?

  101. Evo in Oz says:

    good thanx rico, yourself?

    yep no news!

  102. rico says:

Good thanks Evo, just wishing for this Ade thing to be sorted out one way or another, hopefully the way we all want it πŸ˜‰

Until then I guess we won’t hear of any signings 😦

  103. rico says:

Why is it all the clubs seem to sort their transfers out within 48 hours and ours take forever – talks with citeh started at the weekend and we are still no further forward !!

Villa have signed Downing, Wolves have signed a Scottish midfielder and us – we have signed photo’s for sale πŸ˜‰

  104. peachesgooner says:

I just heard MH say that he wouldn’t discuss players that were at other clubs when questioned about the TT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  105. rico says:

Hi peaches – he talks out of his doo dah doesn’t he, he spoke aboth Terry and Ade yesterday in an interview

  106. kelsey says:

    afternoon all

in all my years supporting arsenal,i can never ever remember the anticipation of someone leaving the club.

  107. kelsey says:

if brian marwood is alleged to have said that a medical hasn’t even been arranged yet,you might get to see him at barnet, peaches.

    ouch,can’t talk anymore. πŸ˜‰

  108. rico says:

Hi kelsey – not with so much fondness, usually its doom and gloom when they leave, but Ade, well if he goes so many fans will be elated – quite sad in itself really…

  109. rico says:

Why would Ade have a work permit interview in Manchester if he wasn’t serious about joing citeh or manure – just doesnt make sense really, and wouldnt the medical take place first ?

I am just hoping its done, and Arsene wants to sort the two new deals out before its announced

  110. peachesgooner says:

I think you’re both right – its amazing the feelings the fans have for him isn’t it – I’ve never known us to dislike a player………

  111. rico says:

its strange though peaches, and if kelsey is right, i am beginning to doubt this deal is for real – and all the happy fans will be not so happy – like kelsey says, never in so so so many years has such a dislike for a player been so obvious.

I have been glad to see some players go, but I dont think any of them have ever behaved in such a way as TT – if/when he goes, he will be another to join the ‘wish i had stayed at Arsenal’ players

  112. peachesgooner says:

Have you seen that Hleb may be going to Inter on loan from Barca – can’t see him working with Jose, wasn’t that why he didn’t go there last summer?

  113. choy says:

    evening all πŸ™‚

    he’s not gone yet!!!

  114. rico says:

He is there peaches, confirmed earlier and Lucio. I wouldnt want to work for Jose either, horrid man…

  115. Rasputin says:

I think Arsene should learn a lesson from this. TT was known to be troublesome before we bought him. It just isn’t worth the risk – one difficult player can destabilize the whole team.

  116. Rasputin says:

    Evening choy,

Have you come to join the Ade appreciation society? πŸ˜‰

rico – it seems the middle order collapse is about to undo all the good of the early order batsmen 😦

  117. peachesgooner says:

    Hi choy

No hes not gone yet!!!!!! 😦

Arsene likes a player to be feisty – to have character and spirit. I’m sure he thinks if they step too far out of line he carries enough kudos to bring them to heel.

  118. peachesgooner says:

Did Kev do something silly again – he was nearly out earlier wasn’t he……..

  119. Rasputin says:

    Sorry, I couldn’t agree less I’m afraid peaches 😦

I don’t think AW does have the personality to deal with difficult players. His main strategy seems to be to ignore them and not to talk to them as several unhappy ex players have claimed.

I think the way he controls players is by building huge mutual respect, but if the player is not a good person, that doesn’t work = Ade

  120. choy says:

    evening rasp….

    transfers and arsenal .. heheh

  121. rico says:

Hi choy – good to see you, how are you doing ?

Rasp – same old same old eh, just hope Freddie and Strauss can hang on in there until the close today, Bopara is having a mare again 😦

  122. choy says:

    hey peaches.

  123. choy says:

hello rico… am doing well.. thank you

hope alls well with you as well πŸ™‚

  124. rico says:

    Not bad thanks choy,

got to pop out for an hour, be back though as i hope some news will be out later

    Freddie out Rasp 😦

  125. JonJon says:

    evening all….

still no news eh?? im feeling rather let down i must admit….

every morning i wake up hoping ade has moved clubs….and every morning im left feeling dissapointed..

hi choy….nice to see you again

  126. choy says:

    hey JJ.. thank you..

    hope you doing well!

  127. JonJon says:

    im good choy….yourself??

so whats your thoughts on the ade saga???

  128. choy says:

    m good thank you…

Well.. i think its best that he leaves.. no doubt we are letting go of someone who can score a min of 15 per season.

But its better that he goes, his ego has grown too much, he is not here for the club, only here to earn money money money.

If he stays, he will always want to be first choice, so its best he goes.

I also do hope that we use the money to bolster the defensive side of things. That is the most important.

  129. peachesgooner says:

rasp – I didn’t say he had the personality to deal with the players that were feisty more that he thinks they should come to heel because he says so…..thats not the same thing at all…. πŸ™‚

  130. peachesgooner says:

Its a control thing – I’ll let you come and play in my team but you have to not step out of line even though I know that you could do something naughty……I’m going to be watching you…..

  131. JonJon says:

im of the opinion that we are better off without him on and off the field….

all this negativity that surrounds him all the time is no good….and the bottom line of it all is that he isnt even our best player….so why should we put up with it???

hes a walking circus…that ouzes negativity….we should just cash in..

  132. peachesgooner says:

JonJon – I hope you’re not using up all your best phrases before you get to write the celebratory post πŸ˜€

  133. JonJon says:

its an ego thing…hes the best player for togo…so he acts up….he thinks hes the best player for arsenal so he acts up….

hes got the diva attitude and you can only get away with the diva attitude if your henry, ronaldo, or messi…

adebayor hasnt got that edge to his game..i wouldnt even put him in the top 10 strikers in the world….

we are better off without him…

  134. JonJon says:

peaches im doing a post tonight…

but the celebrity post comes when he signs…which could take a few days and i cant wait tht long.. 😦

  135. Rasputin says:

Pardonez moi peaches πŸ™‚ – “he carries enough kudos to bring them to heel.” – I beg to differ.

If they don’t respect him or the club, he doesn’t have the ‘SAF venom’ to make them fearful of his wrath IMO….

rasp – you’re splitting hairs aren’t you 😳 obviously I’m not explaining myself very well……

I think that Arsene expects his players to be so thrilled to be working for him that they will hang off his every word and act in the way that he would in any given situation – most do it would seem because the ones that don’t swiftly get dispatched.

Thats what I mean about his own kudos…….

The referee is in the house – ding ding πŸ˜‰

  138. rico says:

    Whey Hey –

Our new signing is very near πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚

  139. choy says:

lol rico.. thats typically us πŸ™‚

  140. rico says:

Thought that get a chuckle choy, its funny really, I wish AW could snap up the older players as quickly.

I see Grimandi is praising us again today – you know when he used to come on for Paddy etc, I used to cringe and have grave concerns, but having watched Denilson, Diaby and ‘even Song’ (not so much recently) I found myself longing for a player like him – no fear, could tackle – kind of a poor mans Ray Parlour

  141. choy says:

yep that aggression and commitment is missing from the team these days 😦

looks like it is ade that is holding up the transfer.. he apparently wants more than 150k a week which they are currently offering.

  142. peachesgooner says:

The whole point is that he doesn’t have the ‘SAF venom’ but his expectations of his players’ behaviour is such that he feels he shouldn’t need it……

  143. rico says:

    I have just had a thought –

Citeh are in Abu Dhabi and Mark Hughes says he wants to still buy players…

Go the whole hog Mark, we have an Abu Diaby you could buy – 10M and he’s yours πŸ˜‰ πŸ˜‰

  144. peachesgooner says:

    That was my last word……. πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚

  145. rico says:

peaches – thats becuase Arsene uses wash ‘n’ go, and has no need for a hairdryer πŸ˜‰ πŸ˜‰ πŸ˜‰

  146. peachesgooner says:

    rico – thats very funny – Abu Diaby – d’you think he knows…… πŸ˜†

  147. rico says:

    thanks peaches πŸ˜‰ πŸ˜‰

    Doesn’t he always…. 😳 Arsene I mean πŸ˜‰

  148. rico says:

“He is an excellent striker. Everybody knows him and he can score from nothing. But it is his decision whether he wants to stay or he wants to go.

“We have Arsene. He knows everything. He knows if we need someone then he will buy.”

  160. rico says:

    Morning All – Here goes

‘Of course next year I am here at Arsenal, Arsene – he is a very strong coach, he gives me freedom on the pitch, I like it – he find out a position for me, (chuckles) er, left of midfield before i came Arsenal’

Asked where he wants to play next season –

‘I would like to play in a position where I am useful for the team’.

He beieves we are close to winning and we can win title and CL, he says we will be strong.

On his four goals – he says now he has to prove it happened because he is strong.

Cesc is the player who has impressed him the most, his vision is perfect.

He likes scoring and winning but dislikes training a lot… Pre-season is the worst (with a cheeky grin)

Thats it folks – just for you JonJon x

  161. JonJon says:

    Thank you rico….
