I must start with the under 18′s who had a good day on Saturday. What with the Hull fiasco and the sacking of Phil Brown, I lost sight of another great result for the team that will one day be our future. They beat a Milton Keynes reserves side 4-0 at home.
There’s not much on the Arsenal website about the game, all it says is the kids went 11-points clear at the top of Premier Academy League Group A with a 4-0 win
Benik Afobe bagged a quick couple of goals in the first half and Chuks Aneke made it 3-0 just before the hour, substitute Josh Rees completed the scoring just before the final whistle.

Going on from yesterday’s post, our very own Romford Pele has been speaking about David Beckham and our own Theo Walcott.
Parlour says that Walcott can become a major player for Arsenal and shouldn’t be judged on his injury-hit season.
The former Arsenal favourite reckons there are a few things similar between Theo and the David Beckham during the peak of his career.
Ray Parlour has just been on ‘An Audience with’ and he defended Theo’s form this season and reckons the player will be a huge part in Arsenal’s future.
“Players like Theo Walcott have massive potential,” he said “I would not say he has had a bad season it is just that he has not had a run in the team.
“Against Burnley, he was brilliant, absolutely fantastic. But if you are going to be a big player you need to do that week in week out at a consistent level.
“Theo will do that once he gets his injuries sorted out. Once he does that he can be a massive player for Arsenal.
“The ball he put over at the start of the second half at Hull was like Beckham in his prime. But Theo has got pace as well. He has just got to get injury free now and get a run in the team.”
So that’s what he told afc.com, high praise from an Arsenal hero…
Being serious for one minute, would Ray Parlour make such a statement if he didn’t actually believe what he was saying, would he compare him to such a ‘big’ player as David Beckham if he didn’t believe he was right? I don’t think he would, all he would be doing is putting more pressure on the now twenty one year old – and we know he loves Arsenal too much to do that!
So love Beckham or hate him, he just won’t go away, and that’s a good time to compare him to Theo Walcott, love him or hate him , he too is here to stay – and according to Theo, he is like a new signing… YAWN 
PS – Anyone know how the Chavs got on last night? Ha ha ha ha ha

Morning rico.chavs can complain about being denied a penalty but it was karma.carvalho is a master of shirt grabbing and blocking off opponents during corners.chelsea lacked a creative mf like cesc who could split the defence wide open.they are also short of dribblers.watching them hit long ball after long ball to drogba showed how limited they are in their play.mou outfoxed CA;when malouda was pushed to leftback,eto’o was moved to the left and thats where eto’o scored from.i’ve been to a couple of chav blogs,it is hilarious to see them whine like terry did after the game ended.

Rico-to beat inter,you have to play a fast paced game and you will slaughter them like ducks.i’ve watched them play teams like napoli,genoa and roma who play arsenalike stuff and inter struggled!they’ve only won one game in feb vs udinese since teams know high tempo and pace is the way to go against them.there is no team more physical team than inter in europe;chavs were beaten at their own game.CA tried to play italian style vs inter and it failed miserably!it is also hilarious to see madrid out while sneijder and robben who they thought were not good enough have guided their respective teams to cl quarters.cheers!
